The Avengers are in a heap of trouble as the work turns upside down for them, literally and figuratively.

Marvel has just unleashed the latest trailer for Avengers: Infinity War where everything is on the line for the superheroes and he World. In the latest trailer we see all members of the Marvel superheroes family unite to battle Thanos and his minions as he waves his campaign to obtain the Infinity stones.

Take a look at the trailer and new poster below along with a breakdown of some of the clips most notable scenes.

The clip begins with Manhattan literally upside down and cuts to Black Widow, Bruce Banner, and War Machine staring up at the sky of Wakanda. We hear Gamora’s voice setting up the looming threat: “The entire time I knew him, he only ever had one goal. Wipe out half the universe. If he gets all the Infinity Stones, he can do it with a snap of his fingers.”

We then see Thanos and his gauntlet containing purple Power Stone, leading ya to believe that Nova Corps and Xandar could be no more.

Forward to shots of Doctor Strange and Vision who are hosts to two of the stones. The green Time Stone is known as the Eye of Agamotto hangs around the neck of the Doctor while the The yellow Infinity Gem is the Mind Stone that one powered Loki’s staff. Now it’s embedded in The Vision and was the key to bringing the Vibranium-infused synthezoid to life.

As we jump over to Wakanda, Shuri sees first hand how how the rare mineral led to the creation of a literal living being.

T’Challa, Okoye, and the Dora Milaje meet Cap, Black Widow, and the rest of the Avengers in this epic sequence. The king stands alongside Danai Gurira’s security chief as they greet the delegation of heroic refugees seeking sanctuary in Wakanda.

After the Q-Ship crash lands in Thanos’ hometown of Titan we see Star-Lord, Iron Man, Spider-Man and Doctor Strange emerge from the wreckage after having been taken in the sip upon their pursuit in Manhattan. Star-Lord and Iron Man have a difference of opinions in how to proceed as they banter back and forth. Later we see Star-Lord’s willingness to put himself in danger as he leap across amid the wreckage of Titan using flaming discs thrown out by Doctor Strange.

We get a glimpse at how Doctor Strange ended up in Tinan in the first place as one of Thanos’ children, Ebony Maw – mastermind of “The Black Order” in Marvel Comics – silences the sorcerer whom is seen in captivity. This is probably why Peter Parker and Tony Stark chases the Q-Ship which seems to have been piloted by Ebony Maw in an effort to capture the Time Stone.

The remaining children of Thanos are assembled to help obtain the stones. We see Loki standing alongside Proxima Midnight, Ebony Maw, Corvus Glaive, and the mammoth Cull Obsidian. They help Thanos seize the blue Space Stone, giving him two of the six elements he needs to complete his reality-warping Infinity Gauntlet.

In a somewhat tender Thanos flashback we see him and his forces holding Gamora’s people at bay as he kidnaps her. Thanos professes to care deeply for Gamor and we see some of that supposed tenderness in this shot of the little girl’s green hand reaching out to hold his giant one but as we know, he is one cruel father figure.

Iron Man Gets Mauled during the battle in Eakanda as we see the Outriders – hybrid alien warriors, genetically engineered to be an infantry swarm by Thanos – pouncing on him like a pack of jackals.

Thor makes his appearance sans his hammer but seems to have obtained the battle-ax Stormbringer which he wellness to summon the thunder.

The most buzzed about scene will be Thor one towards the end of the trailer where Steve Rodgers faces off in a hand battle with Thanos. Even though his gauntlet holds two of the Infinity stones, it’s not enough to overpower Captain America which is seen in Thanos’ astonished and bemused expression.

Avengers: Infinity War Hits theaters April 27.
