The MTV Movie Award nominations are our and there is no surprise to see Star Wars: The Force Awakens leading the pack with Deadpool not far behind. The box office record-breaking Star Wars film leads with 11 MTV nominations, including one for Movie of the Year with Deadpool trailing right behind with eight total noms, including Movie of the Year and Best Male Performance. 

The 2016 MTV Movie Awards will air on April 10 at 8 p.m. ET, celebrating the show’s 25th anniversary with hosts Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Kevin Hart. Fans can vote at the show’s official site, while Movie of the Year can also be voted on by Googling the phrase “MTV Vote,” and voting right on the Google search results page.
